I Saw Santa!

We made our second annual trip to Macy's 8th Floor Display and Santa visit last Sunday. Jade liked it more this year, since he's a little older now. When we visited Santa, he once again (like last year) went right up to Santa and got on his lap and smiled for the camera and told Santa he wants a "big hoop" for xmas (big basketball hoop). Santa was very nice and talked to the kids for a couple mintues even! Jaden can't wait for Santa to come down our chimney soon.

Apple Farm

We went to Aamodt's Apple Farm last weekend. Our annual trip. It was great weather and we stocked up on honeycrips and wine from St. Croix Vineyard. We did a hayride and got a snack of popcorn too.

First Haircut

Jaden had his first haircut on Monday. He did a great job and sat still and well behaved the whole time. It was a hard decision for me to do this, as I loved his long curls. It's still curly, just shorter. Not sure if I like it yet, though. I miss the long. He's handsome no matter what!

Walk for Wishes

We spent a morning in June at the Make-A-Wish annual Walk for Wishes. We were "Team Semanko." There were other activities for the kids too, like bouncy jumpers, and a Timberwolves hoop game. Jaden got an autographed picture from Crunch from the Twolves too. This is him shooting hoops.

Independence Day

We went to Angie's cabin for our annual Fourth of July getaway. it was warm and sunny and Jaden had a good ol' time!

Happy B-Day Daddy...and Many More!

Where has the time gone? I haven't been able to update the blog in a few months because we lost the cord to the camera to transfer pics. I finally got a new little gadget that I can use to do this, so we're back in business. Except that we have a broken camera now. Sigh. So, going backward for a few posts. This was Jesse's birthday August 11th.

Petting Farm

This was a few weeks ago too. My mom's apartment complex hosted a petting farm for kids. It was super windy and chilly, but pretty neat for the kids to roam with the animals.

Campin'

I'm sure you already know that our Memorial Day Weekend camping trip started off on a bad foot with Jaden tripping in the dark and falling face-first onto the fire pit ring. After a 2 1/2 hour visit to the Emergency Room to get a stitch, we had a good rest of the weekend. Here are some pic's.

Nanie's Birthday Party

It was a few weeks ago, but here are pic's from Damiana's 6th birthday party at Shoreview Community Center. The kids got to shoot hoops, play in the climbers and go swimming. Cake and pizza too, of course!

Zoo Day

We went to the Minnesota Zoo today with my friend Angie. We all had a good time. Jaden especially liked the farm animals because you could really get close up and ever touch many of them. It was a perfect day to go, as the weather was just right and it wasn't too crowded.

Lately

A few pic's from the last couple weeks. Jaden and Gram Gum having a popsicle treat, having fun outside in the sandbox, hammock and giraffe tent. The weather has been really nice! Love it.
