Children's Museum

Last Friday, Jesse and I took Jaden to the Children's Museum, because we had the day off. Jaden had a really good time. He played in the water and bubble area, he danced on stage with maracas, climbed around the tunnels and slides and all sorts of things.

Damiana & Jaden

Damiana came over last weekend and we all watched a movie. They kids cozied up together on the couch for a while. I could not get a good picture of this, but it was the cutest thing. Every picture I took had one of them with half open eyes or something. But trust me, it was adorable.

Hammer Time

Jaden loves these safety glasses and his hammer. He thinks it's cool to hammer his goggles.

Snow Day

Today we played in the snow. Jaden went for several rides in the sled, then we tried to build a snowman, but the snow was too "dry" and fluffy. So mom made a snow angel. It was fun!

Jamison's Visit

Jamison came to play yesterday. He's one year older than Jaden. They played cars, bowling and basketball. The typical boy stuff. Jaden was sad to see him go home.

Tubbie Time

Last night when Jaden was in the bath, he was scribbling all over the tub with the bathtub crayons. He drew one straignt line up and down and said, "Made a bean!" He then proceeded to draw several more "beans." Then he was trying to draw another bean, but it turned out slanted. A diagonal line. He then said, "Made a slide! Wee!" Then he made a big, giant scribble and said, "Made a house!" Isn't he so smart?! In this picture, you can see the bean on the right and the slide on the far left, lower side. He was very proud, so I said I was going to take a picture.

Excuse Me

I have become such a bad updater!It's well after the New Year and the last posting was from xmas. Ugh. Well, all is well. Jaden is ever increasingly bright and adorable (am I biased?). And a little stinker. Yesterday when he was acting out and I said, "No, Jaden - do you want a time out?" And he grinned and shook his head yes! Then today, he hit me on the leg and said, "want a time out." Ohhh... that little stinker. So, needless to say, when he was actually put on time out, he cried and apologized. Here are a few pic's from recently. Yep folks, he eats and brushes his teeth just like the rest of America.
