Coloring Eggs

Today we colored Easter Eggs. Jaden LOVED it. He cried and cried when we had to "let them dry now..." Later we will put stickers on the eggs. Then... well, I never really knew what to do with the eggs after you color them? I mean, you have to keep them in the fridge if you want to them to stay fresh. But if they are in the fridge, who will see how pretty they are? I never could figure this out. What are you supposed to do with them after you color them? My mom said she made egg salad with them, when I was little. I guess I can do that. Is that what everyone does? Or, do you just display them in a cute basket on a table at room temperature and let them go bad, and just consider them an aesthetic pleaser?
